Two Deacons Appointed
The church has recognized two men as spiritually qualified to serve in the office of deacon: Brothers Noriel Tarun and Rodolfo Valeriano. They were formally appointed on June 8, 2025. For the occasion, we invited Pastor Reuben Saywell of Grace Church Sta. Maria (Bulacan) to deliver the ordination address. His sermon served as a fitting reminder—not only to the two brothers but to the entire church—to follow the footsteps of our Master and Savior in humble service, all for the glory of God. Please pray that the Lord would continually bless them with wisdom and strength for their service.

A New Elder-in-Training
Bro. Jesse Torres, a gifted brother (approved lay preacher) in our church, has been prayerfully discerned by the church as a candidate to be prepared toward bi-vocational eldership. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to equip him with the necessary gifts and graces for this office. Also pray for the church to be brought to a united mind in recognizing the will of our Head, Jesus Christ, who appoints His ministers to His churches. Kindly remember Jesse and his wife, Myra, in your prayers as well, as they await the birth of their child. Pray for a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery, entrusting their growing family to the Lord’s care.
Truth On The Road
On June 22, 2025, Pastor Joseph Mangahas presented to the church a direction for our Sunday School studies. He outlined a series of foundational studies designed to explore key areas of the Christian faith, with the aim of strengthening Christian discipleship. Through this initiative, we hope to embody the model of the apostolic church in Acts 2:42, devoting ourselves to the apostolic teaching centered on the gospel of Christ. Please pray that, by the Spirit’s help, this effort would truly to build up the church in the truth.

Prayer For The Church
Please pray that the Lord would continue to sanctify us and build us up in Christ by the Spirit through the ministry of the Word and the sacraments. Pray that our fellowship would deepen and our unity in the truth would grow stronger. We also seek the Lord’s guidance and direction in our membership meetings, especially as we prepare for our second quarterly members’ meeting on July 19, 2025. Also pray for the conversion of our regular visitors, and for those among them who are already believers to be led toward a commitment to church. Please pray for Pastor Joseph as he continues his household visitations and individual oversight to the members. May the Lord use these efforts to enrich his ministry of preaching to the church, as well as to strengthen his prayer ministry for them. Pray for renewed strength as he also extends his service to other churches. Kindly remember his family in prayer, especially his wife, Sarah, as she supports him in his labors.
